Purchase Art License
|

We offer you the opportunity to purchase commercial
rights to use the artworks on this website.
This means that for a one time fee you can purchase the right to use the art pieces in promoting your business,
to sell products, or just about any other use you can think of, without having to pay royalties.
Prices listed below are in Australian Dollars.
You can check out the currency conversion rate for your country.
Quality and Size
We provide professional quality images, based on your requirements, which you can print out at high-resolution
or use electronically, or any way you wish.
We can supply a variety of resolutions and sizes
to fit most needs. You can specify the exact size
of the image you require at the "Purchase Art"
page (accessible through the Gallery page).
The options for these are set out in the Quality/Size
section below.
We can also supply the images in a variety of formats (JPG,
BMP,
PNG, Photoshop PSD, among others) according to your needs.
Licence Categories
We offer different categories of commercial rights, allowing you to only pay for the rights you need.
Non-Exclusive
You can purchase
non-exclusive rights to use an artwork for one or more
categories listed below - such as CD/DVD Covers, Business Cards and Letterheads,
Books, Calendars and Greeting cards, etc.
This is the cheapest option and means that for
less than $100 you can satisfy your graphic art needs, or sell products with - for example by printing greeting cards or calendars, etc, which you could start
selling to earn an income.
Semi-Exclusive
For an additional fee you can purchase semi-exclusive rights
to the artwork, which means that you have exclusive rights to the artwork for a particular category only.
For example, an emerging band could purchase semi-exclusive rights for a Category
1 license that includes CD/DVD covers. This would ensure that
no other artist would be sold the rights to use this image in their CD/DVD cover
design.
Fully-Exclusive
If you are interested in obtaining fully exclusive rights,
meaning that you have the sole right to use an artwork, or wish to commision a work,
email us to discuss the options.

We give permission for anyone to use free of charge the
images that appear on this website provided they satisfy the criteria described in the Gallery page.

If you require
larger size screen resolution (72dpi) images to include on your website or as a wallpaper for your computer, etc.
This includes images up to 2012x1500 pixel size, equivalent to 28"x21" (71x53cm). |

Special Size Requirements |
|
|
If you require larger images than those shown above, for really large display posters
for example, we can do that also. E-mail us your requirements
and we will get back to you with pricing details.
The above prices refer to images where the height
to width aspect ratio is not appreciably different from the standard images that appear on this website (about
1.4 to 1).
If you require images with the height to width ratio
that is different by more than about 20%, such as for widescreen type shots, we should be able to accommodate this also. E-mail us your requirements and we will assess this on a case-by-case basis, as these may require changing of the original images.

There are a number of
licence options depending on whether you choose
non-exclusive or semi-exclusive rights to the artwork.
Each of these options will now be described in more detail. |

Non-Exclusive |
|
|
|
This option means that you have the right to use the artwork for products belonging to any one of the categories listed below.
Be aware that this option does not preclude anyone else from using the same artwork for the same purpose or category.

If your purpose
does not fit into any of the above product categories email us and we will try and extend one of the existing categories to include your needs. We may even add a
new category if the existing ones are not appropriate.
Note that a particular category may not be available
for selection if some other party has purchased
semi-exclusive rights to that category (see the Semi-Exclusive section following).
To purchase non-exclusive rights for a particular category the
fee is just that specified in the previous Quality/Size
Options section. There are no additional
fees for one category.
If however you wish to purchase non-exclusive
rights to more than one category for a particular image you can select
any number of categories from the order screen ('Purchase Art' page,
accessible through the Gallery page).
The fee for each additional
category is $50 over and above the cost for
the first category.

Semi-Exclusive |
|
|
|
You can purchase
semi-exclusive rights for a particular artwork,
which means that you have exclusive rights for a particular
category as listed in the previous section, and only for that category. No other licences, non-exclusive or semi-exclusive, will be sold for that category
for that artwork.
Of course if someone else has already purchased a semi-exclusive licence for a category, that category cannot be bought under a semi-exclusive licence.
It may also be the case that another party has purchased non-exclusive rights to a category that you wish to acquire under a semi-exclusive licence.
You may still wish to purchase the semi-exclusive licence depending on the circumstances.
Before buying any semi-exclusive licence please
email us to verify the status in this regard.
To purchase a semi-exclusive licence for a particular
category add $200 to the fee specified in the
previous "Quality/Size Options" section. That is, the fee for semi-exclusivity is $200 above the fee for non-exclusivity for any one category.
If however you wish to purchase semi-exclusive
rights to more than one category (if available) for a particular image you can do so by selecting any number
of categories from the order screen.
The fee for each additional category is $200 over and above the cost of the first
category.
The order screen ('Purchase Art' page, accessible through the
Gallery page) will calculate the costs for you based on any of these options.

Credits
|
|
|
|
With all the above options we require that the art be properly
accredited on the image itself or somewhere near it.
This should include a "Copyright" or
© symbol, the artist's name (Guido Grzinic) and the year.
We can supply an image with the credits already included
on it in a non-obtrusive manner, or you can do this yourself if you prefer.
If for some reason you require an image where it is not suitable to add credits e-mail us with your details and we will consider this option also.
